Responsibility
- Design and create stunning floral arrangements for hotel lobbies, guest rooms, restaurants, and event spaces.
- Collaborate with event planners to develop custom floral designs for weddings, conferences, and special occasions.
- Maintain the freshness and aesthetic appeal of all floral displays throughout the resort.
- Source high-quality flowers, plants, and decorative elements from local and international suppliers.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and care of floral materials to minimize waste.
- Work closely with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to coordinate floral installations and removals.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff or assistants on floral design techniques and best practices.
- Stay updated on current floral trends and incorporate innovative ideas into resort decorations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Florist, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end event setting.
- Strong artistic ability with a keen eye for color, texture, and design composition.
- Knowledge of various flower types, seasonal availability, and care techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and clients.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines for events.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle floral materials with care.
- Creative problem-solving skills to adapt designs based on availability and client preferences.
- Certification or formal training in floristry or a related field is a plus.
