Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality gelato, teas, and café beverages according to Mitoya’s standards.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including equipment, counter areas, and dining spaces.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage daily sales reports accurately.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and tracking ingredient levels.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Promote seasonal specials, new menu items, and loyalty programs to customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in café, restaurant, or retail hospitality (preferred but not required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of coffee/tea preparation and dessert service is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (morning/evening).
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., supplies).
