Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the truck workshop, ensuring timely and quality maintenance and repairs.
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend vehicle lifespan.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all workshop activities.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to prioritize maintenance tasks based on fleet requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and vehicle inspections.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in fleet maintenance operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in truck maintenance or fleet management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of truck mechanics, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in the automotive industry.
