Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily fleet operations, including vehicle assignments, routing, and scheduling to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local traffic laws to minimize risks and incidents.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet maintenance standards and are roadworthy.
- Optimize fleet performance by analyzing fuel consumption, route efficiency, and driver productivity, implementing improvements as needed.
- Manage driver performance, including training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions, to maintain a high-performing team.
- Liaise with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance, reducing downtime and extending vehicle lifespan.
- Prepare and submit reports on fleet utilization, expenses, and KPIs to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse and customer service, to streamline logistics processes and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation supervision, preferably in retail or distribution.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety protocols, and local/regional transportation regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of drivers and support staff.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and process optimization.
- Proficiency in fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; familiarity with Bali’s road networks is advantageous.
