Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive inspections of fire trucks, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to extend vehicle lifespan and minimize downtime.
- Analyze technical data and generate detailed reports on vehicle performance, faults, and repair recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and modifications for enhanced functionality.
- Ensure all fire trucks are emergency-ready by verifying the integrity of fire suppression systems, pumps, and auxiliary equipment.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Provide technical training and guidance to junior engineers and operational staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance, preferably with specialized or heavy-duty vehicles (fire trucks, emergency vehicles, or industrial equipment).
- Proven expertise in hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical diagnostics.
- Familiarity with fire suppression systems, pumps, and emergency vehicle standards (NFPA, EN, or local regulations).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in time-sensitive situations.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic software, multimeters, and other technical tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) for technical reporting and team collaboration.
- Willingness to travel to various locations in Bali as required.
