Responsibility
- Design, evaluate, and implement fire protection systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings in compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and fire safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate fire protection measures into building designs and construction plans.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports related to fire protection systems.
- Provide expert guidance on the selection and installation of fire suppression, detection, and alarm systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including permits, inspections, and certifications.
- Develop and deliver fire safety training programs for clients, employees, and emergency response teams.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in fire protection technology, codes, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection engineering, with a strong understanding of NFPA, FM Global, and local regulations.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFPS, PE, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in designing and reviewing fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, and suppression systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for designing fire protection systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
