Responsibility
- Lead and supervise fire suppression operations and emergency response teams during fire incidents and rescue missions.
- Conduct thorough fire safety inspections of commercial, industrial, and residential establishments to ensure compliance with the Fire Code of the Philippines.
- Manage administrative and operational documentation, including incident reports and post-fire analysis.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior fire officers and volunteer groups on modern firefighting techniques and life-saving protocols.
- Develop and implement public awareness campaigns on fire prevention and disaster preparedness within the local community.
- Maintain operational readiness of firefighting equipment, apparatus, and station facilities.
- Coordinate with local government units and other emergency agencies during disaster response and emergency relief operations.
Qualifications
- Must meet the minimum eligibility requirements prescribed by the Civil Service Commission for the rank of Fire Officer 3.
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Possession of the appropriate Civil Service Professional Eligibility or equivalent PRC Board eligibility.
- Proven experience in fire protection services, emergency management, or a related public safety field.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills under high-pressure situations.
- Physical fitness and readiness to perform demanding operational duties.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and commitment to public service.
- Proficiency in computer applications and standard office software for reporting and documentation.
