Responsibility
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner to maintain financial integrity.
- Monitor and manage credit limits, collections, and customer accounts to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections, for management review.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and support business growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial policies, and reporting standards.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role, preferably in a distribution or retail environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Strong understanding of financial principles, including GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
