Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate smooth audits and regulatory submissions.
- Liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, clients, or parent companies) to resolve financial queries and streamline transactions.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks.
- Generate financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) for management and stakeholders in both English and Mandarin.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor accounts receivable/payable and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or tax compliance, preferably in a multinational or Indonesia-based company.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory; English proficiency is required.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and FAT regulations (e.g., PPN, PPh, e-Faktur).
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
