Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing workshop costs, including direct/indirect labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
- Develop and maintain accurate cost accounting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual cost variance analysis and present actionable insights to management.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for manufacturing operations.
- Optimize inventory valuation methods (FIFO, LIFO, weighted average) and perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, allocations, and reconciliations.
- Implement and refine cost control measures to minimize waste and enhance profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or CIMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable recommendations.
- In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, activity-based costing, and margin analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
