Responsibility
- Oversee and manage all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including GST and audit requirements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk to support the school's strategic objectives.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Utilize SAP or similar financial software to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing financial operations, including budgeting, auditing, and GST compliance.
- Strong knowledge of financial software, with preference given to candidates with SAP experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Experience in the education sector or non-profit organizations is a plus.
