Responsibility
- Assist in maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial statements preparation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and verify financial data.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting key variances and trends.
- Assist in audits by providing documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as assigned by the finance team.
- Develop and maintain organized filing systems for financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (final-year students preferred).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Prior internship or coursework in accounting/finance is a plus.
