Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Support the accounting team in reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct financial data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify financial information for budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist in the processing of accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment tracking.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for audits, ensuring all financial records are organized and accessible.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and internal policies to ensure compliance in all financial activities.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial statements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.
- Prior internship or coursework in finance/accounting is advantageous but not required.
