Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts, including general ledger, journal entries, and month-end closing.
- Generate accurate financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements) for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
- Perform audit checks and ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations, and company policies.
- Manage vessel-related documentation, including invoicing, disbursements, and crew accounting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve financial workflows.
- Assist in tax filings and liaise with external auditors or regulatory bodies as required.
- Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in full-set accounting, preferably in vessel management, shipping, or logistics.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
