Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely filings.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks.
- Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational objectives.
- Generate insightful financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the education or NGO sector.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and Indonesian tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international financial reporting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Bali’s business landscape and a passion for education or skills development is a bonus.
