As a key member of our finance team, you will oversee the accurate and timely processing of capital expenditure transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Responsibility
- Manage and process capital expenditure (Capex) and operational expenditure (Opex) transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal accounting policies for capital accounting.
- Prepare and maintain detailed fixed asset registers, including additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast, budget, and monitor capital expenditures.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings related to capital projects.
- Generate financial reports and analysis for senior management to support decision-making.
- Liaise with auditors and tax advisors to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate financial disclosures.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements in capital accounting workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on capital accounting, Capex, or Opex management.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in audit support, tax compliance, or financial planning is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a bonus.
