Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, journal entries, and financial statements.
- Conduct monthly and yearly financial closings, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and statutory requirements for both local and Singaporean entities.
- Reconcile bank statements, intercompany transactions, and vendor accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Support the implementation of accounting software and ERP systems to enhance financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or CAT) are a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting, preferably with exposure to Singapore accounting standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and tax compliance in Singapore and Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
