Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
- Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system improvements to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian GAAP and IFRS; experience with tax regulations in Indonesia is highly desirable.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
