Responsibility
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform financial reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in grant accounting, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with grant accounting and audit support is a plus.
