Responsibility
- Lead and manage external audit engagements from planning to execution, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance on complex financial and regulatory issues.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for audit-related inquiries.
- Review financial statements, internal controls, and risk management processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance audit methodologies and streamline processes.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality audit reports and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or ISAC is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in external auditing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience working with accounting software and data analytics tools.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is an advantage.
