Responsibility
- Process and reconcile student accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding debts, ensuring timely collections and resolution.
- Prepare and distribute invoices, statements, and payment reminders to students and stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve AR processes.
- Generate and analyze financial reports related to accounts receivable for management review.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to students and internal teams regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a global or education sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, AR processes, and financial reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with students and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Familiarity with student financial systems or education sector AR processes is a plus.
