Responsibility
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to assess financial implications of new initiatives and strategies.
- Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization.
- Support budgeting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Assist in the preparation of investor reports and presentations, highlighting financial performance and growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar role, preferably in fintech or startups.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, SQL).
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Australian financial regulations and SME financial services is a bonus.
