Responsibility
- Manage the full spectrum of financial and management accounting, including full-set closing and financial statements.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support executive decision-making.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with company growth objectives.
- Lead cash flow management, treasury functions, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity.
- Ensure full compliance with local statutory requirements, tax regulations (LHDN), and audit standards.
- Supervise the administrative team to ensure smooth office operations and efficient resource management.
- Collaborate with department heads to implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in Accounting (LCCI, ACCA, CIMA, or Degree in Finance/Accounting).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a full-set accounting role, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
- Deep understanding of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, or ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor an administrative team.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- High level of integrity, professional skepticism, and attention to detail.
