Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and integrate best practices.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and process automation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Experience working in a multinational or remote environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
