Responsibility
- Supervise and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Lead tax planning and advisory services, identifying opportunities for tax optimization and risk mitigation.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for clients, including consolidation and analysis.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage client relationships, providing strategic financial insights and addressing complex accounting or tax inquiries.
- Mentor and train junior accountants and tax consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve scalability.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, financial regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or Brevet A/B) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or tax consulting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, GAAP, and IFRS.
- Proficient in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Zoho) and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a benefit.
- Experience working with international clients or in a multicultural environment is highly desirable.
