Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Support the accounting team with data entry, reconciliation of accounts, and maintenance of financial records.
- Help prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments to vendors and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and assisting with audit-related tasks.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions.
- Stay updated on accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prior internship or coursework in accounting or finance is advantageous but not required.
