Responsibility
- Lead and supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing processes.
- Enforce and enhance internal financial controls to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide strategic insights for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and mitigate financial risks.
- Manage tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory filings in accordance with Indonesian regulations.
- Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in a multinational or fast-growing company is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a bonus.
