Responsibility
- Perform on-site installation, calibration, and maintenance of oil and gas instrumentation systems, including pressure transmitters, flow meters, and control valves.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues in instrumentation and control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., API, ISO) and company safety protocols.
- Provide technical training and support to clients and on-site personnel on system operations and best practices.
- Prepare and submit detailed service reports, documentation, and recommendations for system improvements.
- Manage emergency repair services and respond to critical breakdowns with minimal downtime.
- Stay updated on advancements in instrumentation technology and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Ensure all work adheres to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in field service engineering, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation tools, PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation.
- Strong knowledge of oil and gas industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, IEC) and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in English communication (written and verbal) for client interactions and reporting.
- Willingness to travel to onshore/offshore sites in Bali and potentially other regions.
- Certifications in HSE, Hazardous Area (ATEX/IECEX), or instrumentation are a plus.
