Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure functionality and identify faults using diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and team members to execute projects efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work adheres to local electrical codes, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Document work progress, materials used, and maintenance activities for record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Wiring Technician or similar role (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent vocational training.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights or confined spaces.
- Valid electrical license or certification (if required by local regulations).
