As a key player in our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding new merchants to our cutting-edge payment processing platform. Your role will involve building strong relationships with local businesses, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions that enhance their operations. Responsibility
- Identify and target potential merchants in assigned territories (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.) to expand our payment solutions network.
- Conduct market research to understand local business needs and tailor sales pitches accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Present and demonstrate the benefits of our payment processing solutions to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and activation of new merchants.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the merchant acquisition space.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven track record of at least 2 years in field sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably in the fintech or payments industry.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English (additional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage a dynamic sales territory.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tracking systems.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Bali and occasionally to other regions as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
