As a Field Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Coordinator with project management, engineering solutions, and on-site technical assistance. Responsibility
- Provide on-site engineering support for Mercedes facility digitization projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and timelines.
- Assist the Project Coordinator in planning, executing, and monitoring project milestones and deliverables.
- Conduct field inspections, data collection, and asset condition assessments to support digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement asset management systems and optimize facility operations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose engineering solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports, documentation, and project updates for stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, industry regulations, and Mercedes-specific standards in all field operations.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in field engineering, project support, or asset management, preferably in the automotive or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, digitization tools, and asset management software (e.g., SAP, AutoCAD, or IoT platforms).
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz facility standards or luxury automotive infrastructure is highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and adapt to dynamic work environments.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is a bonus.
