Responsibility
- Conduct field visits to clients to facilitate the collection of outstanding payments.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and client interactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical collection practices.
- Provide regular reports on collection progress and challenges to management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and cooperation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client disputes and escalate issues as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in debt collection.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in field collection, customer service, or a related financial role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficient in using collection software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned regions.
