Responsibility
- Conduct field visits to clients to collect overdue payments and negotiate repayment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and update customer accounts accordingly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving payment-related issues.
- Achieve monthly collection targets while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex cases and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection activities and outcomes.
- Educate clients on available payment options and financial products to facilitate smoother transactions.
- Uphold the bank’s reputation by conducting all activities with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in collections, customer service, or a similar role in the banking sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
- Proficient in using collection software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of the local language is a plus.
