As a Field Collection Officer, you will be responsible for visiting customers’ residences to facilitate direct payment collections for overdue credit installments. Responsibility
- Conduct field visits to customers’ homes or workplaces to collect overdue payments in a professional and respectful manner.
- Explain payment terms, options, and consequences of non-payment clearly to customers while maintaining a positive relationship.
- Document all collection activities, including payment agreements, customer interactions, and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to update customer accounts and ensure accurate recording of payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and offering flexible repayment solutions.
- Adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in all collection activities.
- Meet or exceed monthly collection targets while minimizing customer complaints or escalations.
- Submit daily reports on collection progress, challenges, and recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in field collections, customer service, or sales roles, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
- Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English (verbal and written).
- Familiarity with Bali’s geographic areas (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.) and willingness to travel extensively.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email) and ability to use mobile collection applications.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a motorbike or car for field visits.
