Responsibility

  • Assist in managing client portfolios across multiple offshore jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Coordinate with legal teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, and other global offices to deliver seamless client service.
  • Oversee administrative and operational tasks, including document preparation, due diligence, and reporting.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth transactions and resolutions.
  • Support senior managers in business development initiatives, including market research and client proposals.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies/procedures accordingly.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, mentoring junior staff and promoting best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., LLM, CFA) are a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in legal, financial services, or corporate governance, preferably in an offshore or international context.
  • Strong understanding of offshore financial centers (BVI, Cayman, etc.) and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal); additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa) are advantageous.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in legal/financial software (e.g., CMS, due diligence tools).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting while maintaining high productivity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with global teams and clients.
