In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our operational integrity by conducting thorough audits of warehouse processes, material declarations, and overall construction warehouse operations.
As a Field Auditor, you will be the eyes and ears of our management team on the ground. You will ensure that all material management systems are functioning at peak efficiency, identifying discrepancies, and recommending process improvements. Responsibility
- Conduct regular field audits of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Verify the accuracy of material declarations and reconcile inventory reports with actual site stocks.
- Perform systematic inspections of construction warehouse processes to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Document audit findings, identify non-compliance issues, and prepare comprehensive summary reports for management.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to rectify operational gaps and streamline inventory workflows.
- Monitor the movement of materials to prevent wastage, loss, or unauthorized usage.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing warehouse security and stock management efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in auditing, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data tracking and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting.
- Ability to travel to various site locations as required for field audits.
- Self-motivated professional capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
