Responsibility
- Provide expert technical support and training to customers on NGS and microarray platforms, including data analysis and interpretation.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify customer needs and develop tailored bioinformatics solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and webinars to educate customers on best practices in bioinformatics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to genomic data analysis, ensuring customer success.
- Work closely with R&D and product teams to provide feedback on product performance and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and research institutions in the region.
- Stay current with advancements in bioinformatics, genomics, and related technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.
- Document customer interactions and technical issues to contribute to knowledge base and product improvements.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in NGS data analysis, including alignment, variant calling, and downstream interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with bioinformatics tools and software (e.g., GATK, BWA, SAMtools, R/Bioconductor).
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other scripting languages for data analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-experts.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, such as technical support, field applications, or consulting.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for large-scale data analysis is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the region to meet with customers and attend conferences.
