Responsibility
- Conduct daily laboratory operations, including preparation of media, reagents, and solutions.
- Perform culture transfers and maintain cell lines under sterile conditions.
- Monitor and document experimental procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.
- Check for contamination in cultures and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Support senior laboratory staff in research projects and quality control tests.
- Record and analyze data, preparing reports for review by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
