Responsibility
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing on production samples to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and troubleshoot discrepancies in test results, providing actionable insights to the production team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory activities, including test results, calibration logs, and equipment maintenance.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and functioning optimally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality assurance, to address quality concerns and improve processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and laboratory procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methodologies and laboratory procedures.
- Prepare and present technical reports summarizing test findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within the chemical or manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and titrators.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, concise reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and experience working in compliance with industry regulations.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and present findings to stakeholders.
