As a Field Application Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between our clients and engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration of our high-performance connectors into next-generation electronic systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide on-site technical support, and contribute to the development of customized solutions tailored to client needs.
Based in one of Bali’s key business hubs—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung—you’ll enjoy a competitive salary package (IDR 24M–35M/month) while working in a fast-paced, international environment. Responsibility
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, ensuring optimal performance of connector solutions in their applications.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to develop and refine connector designs based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Conduct technical presentations, training, and demonstrations for clients, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze customer requirements and propose tailored connector solutions to meet performance, cost, and reliability targets.
- Troubleshoot field issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to enhance product reliability.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor for technical and application-related queries.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and application notes for internal and external use.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in field application engineering, technical sales, or connector/product development within the electronics industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of connectors (e.g., board-to-board, wire-to-board, RF, high-speed, or power connectors) and their applications.
- Proven ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical specifications with precision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Experience with customer-facing roles, including technical support, training, or pre-sales engineering.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IPC, UL, ISO) and testing methodologies for connectors.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions as required.
