As a Field Application Engineer, you will serve as the bridge between our advanced engineering solutions and our clientsâ manufacturing needs. Based in Bali, youâll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to enhance product reliability and efficiency. This position is ideal for a dynamic professional passionate about electronics, engineering, and client-facing technical support.
Responsibility
- Lead on-site technical support and troubleshooting for consumer electronics manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver customized technical solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost optimizations.
- Develop and implement application-specific engineering solutions to enhance product performance and reliability.
- Train client teams on the use of new technologies, equipment, and best practices in manufacturing.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and proposals for stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in consumer electronics to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field application engineering, manufacturing support, or a similar role within the electronics industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of consumer electronics manufacturing processes, PCB assembly, and testing methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in using engineering software tools (e.g., CAD, simulation tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required (primarily within Indonesia).
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
