Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain fiber optic cables, WiFi networks, and related hardware in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform routine inspections and diagnostics to ensure optimal network performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, including signal interference, hardware failures, and configuration errors.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement network expansions and upgrades.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Document all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities for record-keeping and reporting.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in fiber optic and wireless networking technologies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all field operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Network Technician, with a focus on fiber optic and WiFi systems.
- Proven expertise in installing, terminating, and testing fiber optic cables (e.g., fusion splicing, OTDR testing).
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and wireless standards (802.11ac/ax).
- Certifications such as CCNA, FOA CFOT, or equivalent are a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and technical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to handle fieldwork, including climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working in outdoor conditions.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with strong communication skills for client interactions.
