Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day farm operations including planting, irrigation, pest control, and harvesting schedules.
- Manage and lead farm personnel to ensure maximum productivity and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor crop health and implement strategic agricultural practices to optimize yield quality and quantity.
- Maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Assist the Farm Manager in resource planning, inventory management, and budgeting.
- Prepare regular reports on farm performance, inventory levels, and labor distribution.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in farm management or supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural techniques, crop management, and modern farming technologies.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic outdoor environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for reporting and inventory management.
