Responsibility
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and report any issues related to Halal, food safety, and quality management systems to the appropriate authorities.
- Conduct routine inspections of farm facilities to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
- Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with farm managers and other team members to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
- Provide support in emergency repair situations to minimize disruptions to farm operations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in farm maintenance and safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or agricultural maintenance is a plus.
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in an agricultural or industrial setting.
- Basic knowledge of Halal and food safety standards and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to document maintenance activities accurately.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
