Responsibility
- Conduct root cause analysis on failed electronic components using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and thermal testing to identify defects and anomalies in products.
- Document and report findings with detailed failure analysis reports for engineering and quality teams.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions.
- Utilize microscopy, X-ray, and spectroscopy tools to inspect and analyze material and structural failures.
- Develop and improve testing methodologies to enhance product reliability and reduce failure rates.
- Maintain accurate records of failure trends, patterns, and solutions in compliance with industry standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending design or process modifications based on analysis.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in failure analysis, quality control, or electronics testing.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, SEM, XRF).
- Strong knowledge of electronic components (e.g., inductors, transformers, PCBs) and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis and technical reporting with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IPC standards, or other quality management systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with strong communication skills in English.
