Responsibility
- Design and oversee the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, cooling, and plumbing, for data center facilities.
- Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for mechanical system upgrades or new installations.
- Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for mechanical systems.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement energy-efficient and sustainable practices in mechanical system design and operation.
- Provide technical support and training to operational teams for ongoing maintenance and system optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on data center design and construction.
- Proven expertise in HVAC, cooling systems, and plumbing design for critical infrastructure.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other engineering design tools.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical systems in data centers.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English.
