Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in industrial machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and recommend proactive solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, service logs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and installations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations, including OSHA and industry-specific standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
- Assist in the implementation of energy-efficient practices to reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in building or industrial maintenance, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, or working in confined spaces.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting.
