Responsibility

  • Lead and manage end-to-end factory projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and procurement, to streamline operations.
  • Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee factory workflows, identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Japanese stakeholders and local teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all factory operations.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in factory project management, manufacturing, or logistics.
  • Fluency in Japanese (N2 level or above) and English (business proficiency).
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, ERP systems).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other factory sites or corporate offices.
