Responsibility
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure all products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs while maintaining high-quality output.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to manage inventory levels, supplier relationships, and timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure compliance with local and international manufacturing regulations, environmental standards, and workplace safety laws.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to improve factory performance, including the adoption of new technologies and lean manufacturing principles.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, budget adherence, and operational challenges to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in factory management, preferably in the furniture or woodworking industry.
- Proven track record of leading production teams, improving operational efficiency, and driving cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of quality control systems, lean manufacturing, and workplace safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and other manufacturing software is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is required; additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to relocate or commute to Bali and adapt to a culturally diverse work environment.
