Responsibility
- Lead the commissioning and start-up of a new large-scale manufacturing facility, ensuring all systems, processes, and equipment are operational and compliant with industry standards.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve production targets, quality standards, and cost-efficiency goals.
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and quality assurance, to streamline operations and resolve challenges.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, promoting a culture of accountability and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong expertise in commissioning and start-up of large-scale manufacturing facilities.
- Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence, process optimization, and cost reduction.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
